So, what do I do?
- Look at the information for each of the Cardinal Properties
buildings on this website and decide where you would like to live.
- Pets are generally not allowed, but some selected apartments
will accomodate one cat for an additional deposit. Please inquire.
- Read all Leasing Information,
including the Lease Addendum
and Checkout Letter to make sure that
you can accept the terms and conditions.
- Consult your schedule and the Showing Times
page of this website.
- Call to make sure that there are units available in the building
you would like to live in, to get the most current pricing, and
to make an appointment to view an apartment. You can find contact
information and addresses in the Contact
Us page of this site.
- Download, read and print copies of the Application, Lease Addendum,
and Utility Start Letter from the Forms
page of this website. There is a $20.00 application fee per person
to apply to rent an apartment.
- Make sure that all roommates have read and understand all of
the forms, terms and conditions. You may want to confirm commitments
from everyone by pooling your money for the first months rent
and the damage deposit because you will not want to be responsible
for anyone's rent share if they back out on you prior to the end
of your annual lease.
- Fill in each form completely, putting valid information in each
blank or noting that it does not apply to you (N/A), with a brief
explanation. Filling out each form completely will expedite the
process of renting your apartment.
- Bring the completed forms with you when you view the apartment
and be prepared to write a non-refundable check for your first
months rent, as well as pay a $20 per person application fee.
Your damage deposit, an amount equal to your first months rent
will be due prior to recieving keys. These forms and checks may
be mailed in if you will not be viewing your apartment prior to
moving in (For instance, if you are from out of state.).
- After you move in, remember to use the Community
Services page of this site and to download forms such as an
Extension Of Lease application
when you need them. You can also make Maintainance
Requests easily from this site.
