About Us
Cardinal Properties is a locally owned and operated business dedicated
to providing safe, affordable housing in the Dinkytown neighborhood
of Minneapolis. Several managers and staff members have lived
in the SouthEast Minneapolis area for over 30 years.
Our management team is experienced and dedicated to the safety of our
residents and the neighborhood in general. We have been around the Dinkytown
area most of our lives, raising our families in SE Minneapolis and working
in SE Minneapolis neighborhoods. We are:
| Gail Puzak: |
Property Manager. Gail is one of two property managers with Cardinal Properties.
She works with residents on leases and parking assignments as well as deciding what
capital improvements should be made to properties. Gail’s management experience includes
working for the Carlson School of Management as an Undergraduate Academic Counsellor.

| Nic Puzak: |
Property Manager. A SE Minneapolis native, Nic has been managing apartments
in University area neighborhoods for over thirty years. After graduating from
Carleton College in Northfield, MN., he earned an MBA in 1985 from the University
of Minnesota. While working as a licensed real estate appraiser, he served on
numerous boards of city neighborhood organizations. Positions include past
President of the East Downtown Council, and appointments to the citywide
Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP). Currently, Nic serves on the Board of
Directors for Augustana Care, a 150 million dollar non-profit organization.

| Bill & Cherie Baker: |
Exterior & light maintenance. Bill and Cherie have been resident managers at 401 SE 9th Street since 1971. |

| Pete Degan: |
Pete also grew up in SE Minneapolis and still lives in the area with his family. He owns, maintains and operates
a variety of lawn, snow and landscape equipment. |

| Craig Kelley: |
Custodial and light maintenance. Craig attended High School
at 1313 SE 5th Street and is the caretaker for over 200 Minneapolis
Public Housing Authority apartments.

| John Mcfadden: |
Skilled maintenance. Johen is a professional locksmith,
amateur photographer, and a duplex owner.
